The University of Jammu has opened applications for multiple project-based positions under the research project “Landscape, Livelihoods and Gendered Realities: A Geographical Study of Tribal Women’s Well-being in Kargil District of Ladakh”, sanctioned by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). The project duration is one year.
The university is offering one position of Research Assistant with a monthly emolument of Rs 37,000, requiring a postgraduate degree in social sciences with at least 55% marks along with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D qualifications.

Additionally, two part-time Field Investigator positions are available, each carrying a monthly emolument of Rs 20,000. Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in social sciences with a minimum of 55% marks. The field investigators will be engaged as and when required during field surveys.
