Festival rush: Additional coaches announced for Jammu Rajdhani & Kolkata Express

In view of the heavy passenger rush, the Jammu Division has decided to add an additional coach to Jammu Rajdhani train number 12425/12426 on February 21 and 22, and to Kolkata Express train number 13151/13152 from February 21 to March 1.

This decision has been taken in view of the upcoming festivals and to reduce the extra rush of passengers and make their journey comfortable. This decision will provide great relief to waitlisted and general class passengers and will make more berths available, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal said today.

The details of the coach addition in these trains are as follows.

In view of the rush of passengers on Train No. 12425/12426 New Delhi – Jammu – New Delhi Rajdhani Express Premium Train, an additional 3AC coach is being added on February 21st and 22nd.

Train No. 13152/13151 Jammu Tawi – Kolkata – Jammu Tawi Express

For the convenience of long-distance travelers, a general class coach has been added to this train.

This arrangement has been made to manage the rush of passengers during the upcoming festivals.

Consequently, the decision to add additional coaches to both trains has been taken to enhance passenger travel and make them more comfortable.
