In view of the heavy passenger rush and long waiting lists, the Jammu Division has decided to attach an additional 3AC coach to Train No. 12425/12426 (Rajdhani Express). This initiative will not only ensure a comfortable journey for rail passengers but also facilitate easier access to confirmed tickets.
Regarding the specific details of the train, the decision has been taken to attach an additional 3AC coach to Train No. 12426 (Rajdhani Express) for the period spanning from April 4 to April 10.
This measure is intended to ensure enhanced and comfortable amenities for passengers.
According to Uchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager: “During the summer holidays, there has been a significant surge in the number of passengers and tourists traveling by train. Prioritizing the convenience and demands of our passengers, we have decided to temporarily attach an additional coach. Similar arrangements will be made in other trains in the future as and when required.”
Passengers can check for berth availability in this additional coach and make bookings through the official website of Indian Railways (IRCTC) or via railway reservation counters.
