Coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir came as a surprise for many as it spread at a very fast pace in the state killing two people till Sunday.
While the virus in adjoining Union Territory came mostly from those pilgrims who were infected in Iran during their visit to the country, in Jammu and Kashmir the source of the virus is still unknown.
Now in most of the districts of the state, Coronavirus has spread its tentacles and was spreading at a fast pace even as the country is under a lockdown.
A total of 38 positive cases of Coronavirus have been reported from different districts of J&K out of which 34 are active cases, two deaths and 2 have been recovered.
Coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir has affected Srinagar district the most where there are 15 cases of the disease out of which 13 are still active, one died and one has recovered.
Jammu district has a total of three cases out of which two are still active and one has recovered.
Bandipora district has eight cases of Coronavirus that are still active.
Rajouri and Budgam districts have three active cases of the virus.
Pulwama reported only one case of the virus that is still active while Baramulla reported two cases of Coronavirus out of which one recovered while the other died.
Udhampur reported three cases of the virus that are still active.
While the government is trying to to contain further spread of Coronavirus in jammu and Kashmir, people are also adhering to the order of lockdown and few people are seen on street in different towns and cities of the state.
Quarantine facilities have also been established by the state government at Kathua where people coming from other states with the symptoms of Coronavirus were kept for a certain period of time.
Meanwhile Coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir may have spread at a very fast rate, people in the state were also keeping a tab on developments regarding the virus across the nation.
