Second wave has hit Jammu hard, surge in atypical pneumonia cases

Doctors dealing with chest diseases have said that there is a surge in atypical pneumonia cases in Jammu during recent days.

Dr Sanjeev Narang who is a chest diseases expert based in Jammu has warned people of the city about the second wave of Covid-19.

Dr Narang has said, “today I have notice a sudden surge in atypical pneumonia cases and some of them were in a quite bad condition. Second wave has hit Jammu hard”.

He has also asked people of Jammu to behave in a responsible manner and follow Covid protocol strictly.

573 new cases of Coronavirus were reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Three deaths were also reported in J&K including one from Jammu and two from Kashmir division.
