An FIR has been registered against the Principal and Vice Principal of St Mary’s Presentation Convent Secondary School, Jammu who were found to have violated the guidelines of the district administration leading to death of a teacher of the school.
The school defied the orders of district administration and forced teachers to come to school leading to death Neelu Virender, a senior music teacher in the school creating an uproar on social media demanding action against the school.
The FIR was lodged by the police on receipt of enquiry conducted by ADC Jammu Ghanshyam Singh. In its report, ADC Jammu had recommended lodging of FIR against Principal and vice Principal of Presentation Convent Sr. Secondary school Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
As per reports a Case Fir No. 154/2021 u/s 188/269/270/506 IPC ,3 Epidemic diseases act 1897 and 51 disaster management Act 2005 has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station Jammu against Sister Hema (Principal) and Sister Leema (vice Principal) while further investigations were still going on.
