Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is these days in Kargil district of Ladakh shooting for the final scenes of his upcoming movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.

Aamir Khan along with his team reached Ladakh by air with shooting equipment and visited many parts in and around Kargil town on Saturday. Laal Singh Chaddha is expected to be released in December this year and its shooting is in final stage. Khan with his team also visited newly proposed site for alternative civil Airport for Kargil at Sarukathang Wakha.

Apart from playing the lead character in this Hindi adaptation of the Oscar-winning film, ‘Forrest Gump’, Aamir is also the producer of this magnum opus project – Laal Singh Chaddha. The team was waiting for snow to melt in Ladakh before they could visit the cold desert. The visit was also delayed due to the outbreak of pandemic.

The source further adds, “Aamir, who is known to be a perfectionist has made Laal Singh Chaddha his passion. What’s more, he’s even looking into the edit and backend work of the film himself. He’s completely focused on the film and has decided to switch off his mobile phone until the film hits the theatres, enabling him to concentrate on the film a hundred per cent.”

Aamir Khan had earlier visited Ladakh for the shooting of his movie ‘3 Idiots’ where his shooting near iconic Pangong Lake is still remembered by the locals.
