Bollywood actor Asif Basra committed suicide on Thursday in Dharamshala of Himachal Pradesh. Why did the actor commit suicide is still not known. SP of Kangra has confirmed the incident.
The police team have also reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. The police have started investigating the case after sending the dead body of Asif Basra for postmortem. It is being told that actor Asif Basra was living in a rented house in McLeodganj for the last 5 years. He also had a foreigner girlfriend who used to live with him.
It is being told that Asif Basra used to live with a woman from UK in McLeodganj in a live in. On Thursday afternoon, Asif went out with his pet dog. After coming back to home he committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope. Initial investigation revealed that he was a victim of depression.
Confirming the incident, SP Vimukt Ranjan of Kangra said that the police is investigating the case. Asif Basra has committed suicide, he said.
