A high level meeting will be conducted by Home Minister on June 3, amid the spate of civilian killings in Kashmir. Amit Shah will chair a high-level meeting to review the security situation in the Union Territory which will also be attended by top security officials and Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha.

The meeting comes in the wake of targeted killings of Hindu government employees by terrorists in the Valley, and also as the administration prepares for the Amarnath Yatra from this month-end.

The most recent civilian killings were those of a Kashmiri Pandit government employee in Budgam, a female TV artiste in Budgam, and a woman school teacher in Kulgam.
