Army and J&K police raid terrorist hideaway in Doda, explosives seized

On Friday, security personnel raided a hideaway in the Doda neighbourhood and found weapons and explosives. According to a statement from the police, a combined operation by the J&K Police and the Army’s Rashtriya Rifles in the Khasodi Chansar forest of the Gandoh region led to the discovery of a long-standing terrorist hideaway.

According to the report, a corroded Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), one UBGL grenade, one RPG shell, 25 electronic detonators, and two UBGL accessories were found inside the covert location.
According to the authorities, a case was initiated in this regard and lodged at the Gandoh police station. They said that the region where the weapons and explosives were found has a history of militancy.
