Indian Army’s timely and relentless efforts save life of Youth in Banihal.
Rashtriya Rifles received information about a group of seven individuals stranded in the heights of Halan Gali.
Immediately, one of them was contacted on mobile, who confirmed that they are lost and unable to move any further.
Simultaneously rescue operation was launched by troops of Indian Army which was successful in locating three persons of the group in Hinjal in the morning hours of 1 Apr.
Thereafter an extensive operation was launched along Nagmadu Nala wherein remaining four individuals were also spotted in an unconscious state. They were immediately evacuated to Dholmandu and handed over to the local Police and ‘Banihal Rescue Foundation’.
Three of them were declared dead by the medical staff of the foundation. All the three mortal remains and the lone survivor were further evacuated to the ambulance at Hanjal. The timely and relentless action by the Indian Army resulted in saving life of Parvez Ahmed r/o Hanjal.
