Two graduates from Jammu and Kashmir have made it big by developing a mobile application called as ‘Ditoo’ through which people can book tables for dining and to order ahead meals for taking away. They have designed the app in four months.
A young entrepreneur Umar Ahmad and his engineer friend Najmu Saquib have launched an app which is available on play store as well.
Speaking to ANI, Umar said that Ditoo is a food ordering app that allows one to pre-order, pre-pay, skip the line and book a table at one’s favourite restaurants and added that this app is a great combination of takeaway ordering and restaurant booking.
Entrepreneur further added that some restaurants in the Kashmir valley have been registered in ‘Ditoo’ and just they have put up their location and they will be able to see nearby restaurants and further added that after choosing what food they want at their desired restaurants, one gets the option of “Take Away’ and ‘Dine In’ and people can choose the time that they want the food to be delivered according to their convenience.
Najmul Saqyuib informed that they have received around 230 plus orders and many restaurants are happy with their app.
One of the restaurant owner Hadi Bhat said that the app has proved to be a great help for working professionals and ahead of lunchtime, they order food and it is prepared on time for dine-in or take away.
