Jammu : Border Security Force (BSF) Additional Director General (Western Command) Satish S Khandare, IPS, conducted a comprehensive three-day visit to review the security situation along the Jammu International Border. During his field visit, Khandare thoroughly examined critical border management aspects in the Hiranagar and Akhnoor sectors.
The senior BSF officer interacted extensively with field commanders and troops, receiving detailed briefings on operational preparedness and the current security scenario. He visited strategic border areas, engaging directly with Sector Commanders and Battalion Commandants to assess border domination strategies and operational readiness.
On January 25, 2025, ADG Khandare addressed the Prahari Sammelan at Frontier Headquarters, commending BSF personnel for their exceptional dedication and professionalism. He emphasized the importance of maintaining effective border control to prevent anti-national activities, highlighting the critical role of BSF troops in safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity.
