Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit forward area of Nowhshera sector in Jammu & Kashmir’s Rajouri on the occasion of Diwali. PM will celebrate Diwali with the Indian Army jawans in Jammu and Kashmir.
The PM will travel to a forward area in the Naushera sector of Rajouri district in the union territory of J&K tomorrow (Thursday, November 4).
PM modi since 2014 has been regularly visiting to the border outposts on Diwali. In 2019 as well he spent his time on Diwali with the troops in Rajouri.
The Prime Minister had travelled to the Longewala border in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer last year to celebrate Diwali.
During the past few weeks there has been massive increase in the terror related activities and PM’s visit to J&K on the occasion of Diwali comes in the backdrop of an increase in terrorist activity in the UT.
Officials said the PM’s presence will lift the morale of the jawans on the ground and also give a message that India’s top leadership will not be deterred by Pakistan’s attempt to push in more terrorists.
