BSF, CISF aspirant demand justice from J&K government

Stepping forward to raise their voice for demanding cancellation of new notification and conduction of their written exams several Border Battalion aspirants were injured. Two days ago several aspirants of Border Battalion staged a protest at Bikram Chowk demanding cancellation of new notification and conduction of their written exams wherein police used force to stop them due to which many protestors got injured.

While raising slogans against the concerned officials and LG administration, a strong contingent of police deployed at the site restricted their move.

Several aspirants including girls who got injured two days ago when they were taking out protest demonstration

A girl aspirant said that they were holding a peaceful protest but some police personnel stopped them and used force which in return injured many and are in hospital for treatment.

She further added that they are surprised to know that LG has been kept quiet on this. She further informed that they are asking simply that new notification should be cancelled and the written exams which are pending for the last three years should be conducted immediately.

Other aspirants said that they have already passed physical and medical fitness test but unfortunately written exams could not be completed till date. They said that most of the candidates, who had applied three years ago, have been waiting for their written examination for last three years and now they are getting over aged and therefore, it is hard for them to compete with the new candidates.
