It seems that while the administration has extended relaxations to entire Jammu and Kashmir, residents are throwing Covid norms to winds.

144 new Covid cases were reported from the UT on Saturday that included 47 cases from Jammu and 97 from Kashmir. On August 19, the number of Covid cases was 110 and on August 18 it was 100 from entire UT.

The number of cases was only 83 on August 17 for J&K which means with every passing day the number of Covid patients is increasing in J&K.

Government has already asked the residents of the UT to take utmost precaution and move out in markets and socialize only if it is important. The administration has also asked the people to get themselves vaccinated to be safe from another wave of pandemic.
