Chairman of JMC starts sanitizing shops in Jammu

Baldev Singh Billawaria, chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation, started the work of sanitizing all the shops in ward number 56 Gangyal in wake of rising Coronavirus cases in the state.

Billawaria putting face mask came out along with the workers of sanitation to sanitized Gangyal area. Billawaria said that in Gangyal these days the work of spraying disinfectant in the streets is going on vigorously but there were complaints from the shopkeepers that they also need to be sanitized due to frequent customers visiting their shops.

In such a situation, in view of the demand of the shopkeepers, “we have started the work of specifically sanitizing the whole of the market, which complete within two days. In this, all the open shops in the area will be sanitized” he said.

He requested the people to follow the ‘Laxman Rekha’ so that they should keep them self saved. “My phone is working throughout the day and you can call me anytime working for to serve you” he announced.

Besides, Billawaria also appealed to the residents of every region to help the poor and destitute people living in their areas in the form of medicines and ration etc.
