Counting of votes for LAHDC-Kargil begins

First round of counting for 5th general election of LAHDC-Kargil has begun. Counting was being done for Bhimbhat, Stakchay-Khangral and Padum constituencies. High stakes of political parties are involved in the election for 26 constituencies.

85 candidates mainly of BJP, National Conference, Congress and Independents contested the election.

Results are expected to come out by late afternoon
