COVID-19: Students of JK Board to be promoted without exams

In the wake of rising Coronavirus lockdown, the Jammu Kashmir State Board of School Education has decided to promote all students from 1st standard to 9 standard. Students of 11th standard will also be promoted to the next class.

However JKBOSE has also clarified that in case it is found that a student is not competent enough to perform the the next class, he or she would be demoted to the previous class.
