Crime Branch Jammu arrests fake lecturer of Computer Science

Crime Branch of Jammu has arrested Arfat Ahmed Khan who is accused of acting as a Lecturer of Computer Science at Govt. Higher Secondary School in Doda. Crime Branch has also arrested one another person for issuing forged and fictitious appointment & transfer/posting orders in the School Education Department. This case is also being investigated.

Sources said that the accused was also found disobeying authorities during investigation of the case. He was constantly changing his locations from one place to another in both Jammu and Srinagar in order to break loose of his arrest and face the investigation. Crime Branch of Jammu consistently opposed his anticipatory bail application and got it rejected ultimately.

This case came to fore when the Director of School Education in Jammu alleged that while scrutiny of officials was going on, the department noticed and reported some fake and forged transfer/posting orders of lecturers in the School Education Department of Jammu.

Upon receiving complaint, the Crime Branch of Jammu launched a preliminary enquiry into the case. They found that Arafat Ahmed Khan who is employed as a Lecturer is involved in issuing fake and fictitious orders of appointment & transfers/posting in the School Education Department. He also used illegal means to transfer himself from Govt. HSS Jakyas in Doda to Govt. GHSS Kishtwar. An FIR has been lodged against accused and further investigations are underway in the case.

Crime Branch has arrested the accused and presented him before the Court of law. Authorities have also demanded Police remand for further investigation of the case.
