Unrelenting Twitter seems to be paying no heed to the warnings of government of India to not cross the line again and again.

This time the micro blogging site, Twitter, has shown a distorted map of India wherein Jammu and Kashmir is shown as a separate country whereas Ladakh as a part of China.

The distorted map appears on the ‘Tweep Life’ section and shows Jammu & Kashmir as a separate county and Ladakh as a part of China.

Twitter shows J&K as part of China

This is not the first time that when Twitter has shown the wrong map of India. Earlier in October 2020, Twitter had labelled the Indian territory of Leh in Ladakh as part of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The Indian government had issued a warning to the US-based platform over misrepresentation of India’s map.

However the government of India has remained confined to issuing warnings than to take any strict action against the micro blogging website.
