Delegation from COI, Leh, clerical staff of Ladakh call on LG

A delegation from Chamber of Industries, Leh led by its President Rinchen Namgyal called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Raj Niwas. Director, Industries and Commerce, Ladakh, Nazir Ahmad Shiekh was also present in the meeting. 

Shri Namgyal apprised the HLG about various demands pertaining to industrial estates matters viz. separate allocation of fabrication/ wooden works to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) units of Leh, subsidy on electricity tariff for MSME units, proper disposal of industrial wastes. etc. The HLG directed Director Industries and Commerce, Ladakh to discuss the matters with the members of Chamber of Industries, Leh for possible support. 

A delegation comprising the Clerical/Ministerial staff of the UT Ladakh called on HLG at Raj Niwas. Secretary, GAD Ladakh, Shri Yatindar Maralkar, IAS was present in the meeting. The delegates requested HLG to amend the rules for promotion of Junior Assistant to Senior Assistant. They also requested to issue the seniority list of the Ladakh Secretariat Subordinate Service. The HLG directed Secretary, GAD, Ladakh to examine the matter and also directed to issue the seniority list of the Ladakh Secretariat Subordinate Service.  

Dr Lotus Gailson, a Cardiologist called on HLG at Raj Niwas. Commissioner Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Dr Vasanthakumar, IAS and Director, Health Services, Ladakh, Dr Dorjey Motup were also present in the meeting. Dr Gailson apprised the HLG that he has completed his study leave and requested to rejoin his service. The HLG directed Director, Health Services, Ladakh to let Dr Gailson rejoin his service without any further delay.
