Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer on Monday conducted a surprise visit to the Custodian office Jammu and inspected the functioning of the office.
He inspected different sections of the office of Custodian General J&K, Custodian Jammu, Provincial Rehabilitation Officer (PRO) and interacted with the officials working there.
He inquired about the overall functioning of the office and also took first hand appraisal of the files of Displaced Persons, land transfer cases, rent cases and others pending for disposal.
He asked the officials to work with dedication and clear all the pending files of compensation cases of West Pakistan Refugees, DPs of 1947, DPs of 1965 and 1971 to provide them relief under PMDP/One Time Settlement Scheme.
