FIR to be filed in case of missing land record; Action against illegal entries

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting of Tehsildars and revenue officers and took a detailed review of the functioning of the Revenue Department.

A detailed discussion was held on expunging of illegal entries, encroachment drives; Status of scanning of land records; Savmitva scheme; integration of land records; E Office implementation; Evacuee property; Digitalization of Waqaf property and progress on disposal of court cases.

The DC took detailed review of the eviction of encroachments and exhorted upon the officers concerned to keep strict vigil on land grabbers.  He directed them to intensify anti-encroachment drives to retrieve the encroached land.

It was also decided in the meeting that a special Land Bank in respect of the district will be created. He also instructed for holding mutation camps for the attestation of Mutations and instructed that there should be no pendency in this matter.

Reviewing land record digitization, the Assistant Commissioner Revenue informed that 90 per cent of the records have been scanned. The Deputy Commissioner set Dec 28 as the deadline for scanning remaining    land records.

Regarding the online service delivery system, the District Informatics Officer, Muzzafer Hussain Mir said that 09 online revenue services are currently active in the district.

The Tehsildars were asked to submit the records as per the prescribed format about the implementation of the Savmitva Scheme in the district.
