Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing major tourist footfall and government is making every effort to keep the tourists entertained and enjoy their vacations in J&K. In order to promote tourism, government in J&K’s Kishtwar has recently introduced adventure and sports activities. Yes, now adventure lovers can get to experience some thrilling sport activities in J&K’s Kishtwar.
Government is making every effort to attract maximum number of tourists from near and far. In an attempt to bring forward the hidden magic of Kishtwar district administration has launched adventure activities. The inauguration of the activities was done by the District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma while the event is being organised by the Kishtwar Development Authority (KDA) at the Chowgam grounds.
As per reports, Zorbing Ball adventure was introduced on the first day and various other activities such as sky jumper, trampoline and paragliding shall be introduced soon in coming few days. Commissioner Sharma said that Kishtwar township and other areas have great potential for paragliding.
Kishtwar the unexplored jewel is famous for its saffron productions and is known as the Land of Sapphire. Kishtwar is situated 235 kms from Jammu. It has the most jaw-dropping sceneries like the soaring snow-covered mountains, beautiful rivers and expansive valleys. The stunning grasslands of exotic flowers, fruit orchards and green lands makes it even more beautiful. The Paddar and Wadhwan Valleys here are particularly famous for paragliding and rock climbing
