Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has taken a significant step towards strengthening the state’s education sector by reconstituting the Search Committee for the appointment of Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) and Director of the Jammu & Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT).
The newly constituted committee, as per Government Order No. 2081-JK(GAD) of 2024, comprises senior officials from key departments, including the Administrative Secretaries of Agriculture Production, School Education, General Administration, and Higher Education, along with the Vice Chancellors of the Universities of Jammu and Kashmir.
The committee, which will be supported by the School Education Department, is tasked with identifying and recommending suitable candidates for these crucial educational positions. This move is expected to bring fresh leadership and expertise to these institutions, thereby enhancing the overall quality of education in the state.
