How many bottles of whisky or beer can you store at home in J&K? Here is the answer

Many of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir often encounter a question as to how many bottles or whisky or beer can they store at home within the prescribed limits?

Liquor being an excisable article cannot be stored by a person without permission from the Excise department. Possession limit has therefore been prescribed. Any individual person can store beverages within the prescribed limit for bonafide consumption by him.

Here is the number of bottles of whisky or beer a person can store in J&K.

 IMFL including JK Desi Whisky

Twelve Bottles each of the capacity of 750ML or Twenty Four Pints/Pouches each of the capacity of 375ML or Thirty Six Pouches each of the capacity of 250ML or Fifty Pouches or 48 bottles each of the capacity of 180ML

BEER

7.80 Bulk litres or 12 bottles each of the capacity of 650ML or 15 Tins of the capacity of 500ML or 23 Glass bottles or Tins each of the capacity of 330ML
