Ankur Sharma, President of the Ikkjutt Jammu, announced that the party is going to organise demonstrations in front of Press Club Jammu today at 12 noon to demand separation of Jammu from Kashmir. He said that his party workers will hold demonstrations across 10 districts of the UT.
In a video shared on his Twitter handle, Ankur stated, “such demonstrations are the first step towards building a movement which will ultimately lead to the creation of a separate Jammu state”. In next phase, party members will reach to the common masses, run awareness campaigns and will undertake every necessary step to make this mission a mass movement.
He also appealed to the people of Jammu to participate in these demonstrations. He said that in order to reverse Jihadi Islamism in the region, it is very important for Jammu to get separated from Kashmir. He requested people to support the movement in whatever way possible, physically or virtually.
