The tall claims of Jammu and Kashmir’s administration seem to have vanished in air after the latest figures of unemployment has come forward. J&K government have been claiming that it has brought unemployment rate down, but ground reality is entirely different.
“Periodic Labour Force Survey April-June 2021” released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation clearly shows the reality and claims by central government on providing and encouraging employment in J&K seems to be false.

One of the netizen said that in spite of having ample resources, the bureaucratic raj is ruining Jammu and Kashmir in more ways than one. As per reports, people are asking questions to the Lieutenant Governor’s administration and tell the common people about the details of what good they have achieved in terms of addressing the joblessness in Jammu and Kashmir.
The magnitude of unemployment in J&K can be seen by the fact that more than five lakh unemployed youth applied for around 8,000 jobs for class IV posts which were advertised some time back.
