Jammu boy Tanmay Gupta among NEET toppers

Since the results of NEET 2021 exam has been declared by National Testing Agency (NTA), Tanmay Gupta from Jammu has become first from Jammu and Kashmir to be among national toppers.

He has created a history by securing 720 out of 720 and stood at All India Rank 1. NEET exams are conducted for making a way for admission in medical colleges across the country.

The NEET exams were conducted across 202 cities in Inida on September 12 at over 3,800 centres. More than 16 lakh students from all over the country had applied to appear for the exam.

Tanmay’s father Dr Akshay Gupta said that his son is among the toppers and due to immense handwork of Tanmay, made him reach this height.

Tanmay started to taste success after his 10th Board results. He scored perfect 100 percent marks, both in Science and Maths in CBSE board. Tanmay left his hometown and studied 11th and 12th in Delhi and he was blessed to be eligible to be selected in India’s top and world’s one of the best Institutions in Medical Sciences, AIIMS Delhi.

Tanmay said that if he could reach this position then everyone from J&K have the potential to reach this position with hard work and efforts. He further added that it is more important to be consistent in studies than to increase the number of hours.

Meanwhile, Mrinal Kutteri, a resident of Hyderabad has got 100 per cent marks and secured all India rank No 1 while Tanmay Gupta from Jammu and Karthika Nair have also secured 100 per cent marks. Karthika is also top among female candidates. The NTA has put the result on its official website and also sent email to students.
