It seems that the administration of Jammu and Kashmir needs an appeal from a Kashmiri kid to listen to the electricity woes of Jammu.

At 42 degree Celsius, Jammu is burning with frequent unscheduled power cuts and low voltage. Cries of people from Jammu have so far fallen on the deaf ears of the J&K government.

However people of Jammu have started a campaign on social media regarding the “injustice” meted out to the region. Social media users say that perhaps an appeal by a Kashmiri kid regarding electricity woes of Jammu may get an attention of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.

Recently a 6 year-old Kashmiri girl had made an appeal in a video regarding long online classes after which Lt Governor had immediately asked the School Education Department to take corrective measures. The step was appreciated by many and Manoj Sinha was praised for his prompt action into the matter.

However now people of Jammu were asking as two why Sinha was not acting on the appeals by people of Jammu regarding electricity cuts amid sweltering heat wave in the region.

A Twitter user Sahil says, “Jammu People are still fighting with Covid at their homes .Patients are on Concentrators and they runs on Electricity. Atleast department @pddjkofficial should think about them”.
