Jammu University notification: Admission process for MBA Programme starts

With 30 seats the University of Jammu has announced admission process in its notification for International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICccR & HRM) to the two-year course in MBA (International Business) Programme.

The candidates who are desirous of seeking admission to the course and have appeared in CAT 2019/ AIMAMAT (September 2019/December 2019/February 2020) or appearing in AIMA-MAT, June 2020 are eligible to apply.

Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50 percent marks of equivalent CGPA in any stream from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the course in MBA from Jammu University (JU), says the varsity notification.

Those candidates who have either appeared or are yet to appear in their final year examination for year 2019-2020 can also apply for the provisional admission. But the candidates have to provide a proof of their appearing or passed their bachelor’s degree examination with the required percentage by the date announced by Jammu University.

Students desirous of admission in MBA (University of Jammu) can collect the form from the office of ICccR and HRM on working days between 10 am to 5 pm against a bank draft of Rs 1000 in favour of ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu.

JU has also provided the facility of downloading the form online due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The form can be downloaded from website: www.jammuuniversity.ac.in. Such application/s must be accompanied by scanned copy of the supporting documents.

The last date for submission of application form complete in all respects by hand, post or through e-mail at officeicccrandhrm@gmail.com, is extended upto July 15, 2020.

Admission to the course will be based on merit to the extent the seats are available and as per the norms of MBA (IB) probramme of JU.

Preference will be given firstly to CAT candidates, then MAT and subsequently CMAT respectively. In case of applications submitted through email, the bank draft shall be deposited immediately on the opening of the University.

If the candidate fails to submit the application fee before the scheduled GD/PI, the application form shall not be considered. Candidates finally selected for MBA (IB) programme JU will be entitled to do global understanding course as add on Course.
