J&K administration transfers five JKAS officers

The Jammu and Kashmir Administration transferred five JKAS personnel on Thursday with immediate effect for administrative reasons.

Umar Shafi Pandit, JKAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Noorabad, who also served as Sub-Registrar for Noorabad, has been moved and assigned to the position of Deputy Director at the J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development in Kashmir, according to a government order.

Mehraj-ud-Din Shah, a JKAS Project Officer for Wage Employment (ACD) in Kupwara, has been transferred and assigned as the Assistant Commissioner of Revenue in Ganderbal.

Baseer Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner of Revenue for JKAS in Ganderbal, has been appointed as Controller of Examinations for the J&K Services Selection Board.

The J&K Services Selection Board’s Deputy Secretary, Hilal Ahmad Mir, has been shifted to Project Officer Wage Employment (ACD), Kupwara.

Bashir-ul-Hassan, a JKAS Sub-Register in Kulgam, has been transferred and assigned as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Noorabad. The order states that until further orders he will also have the responsibility of the office of Sub-Registrar, Noorabad and Kulgam, in addition to his own duties.
