On Thursday, the J&K Board of School Education released results for Class 10. Girls performed better than the boys by a significant margin.
According to a JKBOSE representative, the pass percentage for boys was 78.01, smaller than 83.65 of girls. He said that a total of 53,628 students took the exam. Out of which, 43,123 (80.41%) students were able to qualify the test. A total of 30,011 boys and 23,617 girls appeared for the test.
According to the spokesman, 5,104 students received an A1, 8,727 received an A2, 10,067 received a B1, 10,563 received a B2, 7,365 received a C1, 1,288 received a C2, and nine received a D grade.
According to him, the JKBOSE had 30% of the students’ syllabus cut because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, offered his congratulations to the kids who passed the Class 10 test.
He tweeted to express his congratulations to every student who passed the Summer Zone, Jammu Division, JKBOSE class 10th Annual Regular Examinations in 2022. He wished for a successful future of all of the pupils. He also congratulated parents, teachers, and the JKBOSE.
