Leaving no stone unturned to root out terror sympathizers from Jammu and Kashmir government, the intelligence agencies have identified many officials who are likely to face termination in coming days.

In the recent past, many such officials were shown the doors whose links with the terror groups were detected by the agencies. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has clearly told the senior functionaries to not show any leniency towards such officials who are associated with any kind of terror activity or organization.

47 officials especially from Kashmir valley have now come under the scanner of the agencies whose names have been shared with the J&K government. Action is likely against these officials of J&K in coming days in form of termination.

Some officials will also be dismissed from J&K government for their under-performance but sources said that the 47 officials mostly constitute those having links with terrorists.

It has been reliably learnt that 19 officials are under the scanner of J&K government for under performance and as per new rules they will also be terminated.

Intelligence agencies have started scanning the records of all doubtful officials of J&K and only after a thorough investigation their names are being cleared. Those who do not pass the test of investigation are being terminated.

There have been cases where officials have directly criticized the security agencies for operations against terrorists. Some had also criticized the country on their social media platforms. However such misadventures are not being spared under LG Manoj Sinha.
