A large amount of narcotics substances believed to be belonging to a drug peddler was seized by GRP Udhampur from general coach of train Janambhoomi at Udhampur Railway Station.
According to reports, on the Directions of SHO, GRP, Udhampur Sanjay Raina for regular Patrolling of each and Every Platform and Railway Tracks during Patrolling by the patrolling party of GRP Udhampur deployed at Platform number 1 at Railway station Udhampur headed by Sub Inspector Majid Hussain found an unclaimed bag in general coach of train Janambhoomi.
On checking of bag contraband drug namely Tramadol Hydrochloride 100 mg, 1000 strips contains 10 tablet each, total 10,000 tablet worth Rs 1,95,000 found in the said bag.
On this instant a case Fir no. 01/2023 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS act stand register against unknown person/persons at Police Station GRP Udhampur and investigation of the case taken up.
