NIA arrests man for radicalising youth to join terror ranks in J&K

National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Arsalan Feroz, an operative of The Resistance Front (TRF) for allegedly involved in recruiting youngsters to join terror ranks.

Officials informed on Friday that NIA arrested an operative of The Resistance Front (TRF), Arsalan Feroz, for allegedly involved in radicalising and recruiting youngsters to join terror ranks.

Spokesperson of agency informed that during a search operation on Thursday in Kashmir, Feroz, a resident of downtown Srinagar, was arrested.

As per reports, case revolves around motivating and then recruiting youngsters of Jammu and Kashmir to join terror groups and involve in terror activities in UT and other parts of country by Sajjad Gul, Salim Rehmani alias Abu Saad and Saifullah Sajid Jutt, who are commanders of the TRF, a shadow organisation of the banned Lashker-e-Toiba terror outfit.

According to the officials, Feroz was involved with these people and recruiting individuals to carry out, coordinating and transporting weapons to support Lashkar and its frontal affiliate, TRF. The agency has so far arrested four accused in the case.Investigation in this case is going on.
