Nitish worried about Biharis getting killed in J&K, dials LG Manoj Sinha

After the recent killings of people in Jammu and Kashmir, the worried Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar called up J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday. He expressed his concern over the recent killing of people.

Nitish Kumar spoke to Lieutenant Governor over telephone after learning about the death of Raja Rishidev and Yogendra Rishidev in Anantnag, which came a day after Arvind Kumar Sah was gunned down in Srinagar.

An ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the next of kin of all the three deceased has been announced by the CM passed the instructions to the departments of labour and social welfare to ensure that benefits under relevant schemes reach the bereaved families.
