Officers asked to establish one cooperative Super Bazar in each district of J&K

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan, today asked the officers to devise a mechanism for establishment of at least one Cooperative Super Bazar in each district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Advisor, while chairing a review meeting of Cooperative Department, maintained that the Super Bazars have the potential of doing tremendous business if run on professional lines. He asked the officers of the department to upgrade these business outlets on modern lines making them attractive and preferential place to go for the customers.

Among others the meeting was attended by Secretary Cooperatives, Yasha Mudgal; Registrar Cooperative Societies, Shafqat Iqbal; Special Secretary, Cooperatives, Rachna Sharma; Additional Registrar Cooperatives, Jammu, Nirupa Rai; Additional Registrars, Joint Registrars and Deputy Registrars from all the districts while all Kashmir based officers participated through video conferencing.
