Various people in Kashmir who even have not got their second jab of Covid-19 vaccine are receiving messages of being fully vaccinated. Many people have received such false messages on their registered mobile number informing them about that they have received their second vaccine dose and now can download their Fully Vaccinated Certificate.
After receiving such messages there is confusion and panic among general masses, making them question and doubting the entire system. Various people went to their social media apps and posted about the matter and criticized the concerned department regarding the same.
A resident Waseem Wani said that he received the fully vaccinated message on his mobile along with the date and place of vaccination without even getting the vaccine jab. There are similar complaints received as well and now it has increased as over 30 people from Srinagar as well as other districts.
As well as doctors have shown concern over the matter that people are facing concerning vaccination and said that the same needs to be fixed immediately. As per officials, the matter was discussed during the meeting with the Director-General Family Welfare MCH& Immunization J&K and directions regarding the matter have been issued for immediate action.
A letter issued in this regard by the Deputy CMO, Srinagar read that it was pointed out that there are few complaints of inaccurate messages of vaccination having been generated and delivered to people. It further read that though department appreciates the efforts put in by the field staff such inadvertent errors are best avoided and is requested that the concerned field staff/ verifiers are advised to observe strict care to avoid such errors.
