Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday arrived in Rajouri district’s Nowshera to celebrate Diwali with Indian army soldiers.
It is an annual tradition of the PM Modi, ever since he assumed office in 2014, to travel to the frontiers of India’s border points on Diwali each year to bring some joy to the lives of the armed forces personnel posted at some of the remotest security check posts.
Modi talked to the soldiers and also reminded the sacrifices made by the army jawans to safeguard the borders of the country.
