Rahul Gandhi to begin 2 days visit to Jammu from today

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will arrive in Jammu for a two day visit and will reach Jammu on Thursday afternoon. Rahul will take part in the evening puja at the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple.

As per reports, after receiving the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, Rahul Gandhi would participate in political programmes in Jammu on September 10. He is scheduled to address the party workers and leaders in Jammu. He will address a workers’ convention at Jammu on Friday and will meet separate delegations of local leaders during a luncheon meeting.

Rahul’s visit to Jammu coincides with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government’s mega outreach programme in the union territory. Previously BJP had said that the union ministers will visit diffrent parts of J&K as part of this outreach programme.

This is the for the second time that Rahul is visiting J&K within a month as earlier he was in Srinagar on August 9 and 10 when he inaugurated the party’s new office in the city.
