Rajdhani, three other trains not to run from Jammu, Katra today in view of CJP protest on Saturday in Delhi

The Rajdhani Express and three other trains between Jammu–New Delhi have been cancelled on Saturday when the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a protest demanding resignation of Gyanesh Kumar, chief election commissioner.
An announcement by the Jammu Railways Division on Friday said “Due to anticipated severe road traffic congestion around New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Stations on 10th October 2026, the Railway Administration has decided to cancel some trains”.
“Under this decision, 4 trains running from Jammu Division have been cancelled. These include Train No. 12446 (departure time 19:50 hrs), Train No. 04082 (departure time 21:00 hrs) and Train No. 22462 (departure time 23:25 hrs) running between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and New Delhi, and Train No. 12426 Rajdhani Express (departure time 21:25 hrs) running between Jammu Tawi and New Delhi. All the above trains will not run from their originating stations on 09.10.2026, the announcement said”.
“Passengers are requested to plan their journey accordingly. In this regard, Help Desks have been set up at all important railway stations and information is also being continuously provided to passengers through the Public Announcement System. Passengers can also check the train status on Railway Helpline 139 or NTES App”, the announcement added.
