Vaani Kapoor COVID-19 positive, Yashraj Films deny reports

Yashraj Films has denied the reports of Vaani Kapoor testing Covid-19 positive.

Earlier, a source had told that Vaani Kapoor showed some symptoms of the novel Coronavirus so, she took a test. The results tested positive of the COVID-19.

She was about to start shooting a film.  It was rumoured that she is doing well, still however, as a precaution the entire shooting unit including the director, Abhishek Kapoor and the lead actor, Ayushmann Khurrana have voluntarily quarantined themselves for the next few days.

They all have took Coronavirus test too. The shooting will start in a while and in case Vaani can’t join them, then they’ll start by shooting Ayushmann’s solo scenes. The team of the movie was camping in Chandigarh and was about to start shooting.

Speaking about the fim, Vaani had said that it is going to be a heart-rendering film. She has been so inspired by the movies directed by Abhishek Kapoor that it felt amazing to her to be a part of his vision.

Speaking about his partner in the movie, she said that Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most talented actors of this generation and she’s thrilled about their first movie together.

The film will be produced by the T-series and Guy in the Sky pictures. It is expected that It is going to be a romcom movie about an athlete guy who finds after his marriage that his partner is a transgender person. It is not strange to see Ayushmaan Khurrana doing movies with a social message. However, Vaani Kapoor hasn’t played many such roles. 

The Malyalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has confirmed on Instagram that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and has gone into isolation until he tests negative. He was shooting for his upcoming film Jana Gana Mana.

The shooting of the movie has been paused. His statement read that he is asymptomatic and is doing fine. All the people who has been in his contact have been advised to take test and isolate themselves. His fans and friends are sending him wishes over the social media platforms.
