Teachers and masters should not be permitted to visit Srinagar’s civil Secretariat without legal authorization from the Department of School Education, according to a request made by the SED to the Senior Superintendent of Police, J&K Security.

According to the letter by Under Secretary to Government School Education Department, teachers, master and other employees visit the civil secretariat regularly, which hampers the ongoing work in the department.

The letter mentions that the issues are usually related to transfers/deployments on various grounds. These regular interferences must be decreased especially given that the department has already provided various online facilities like ATD, Subject specific/issue specific email for redressal of these issues.

In light of the foregoing, the letter requests to not give allowance to any Teacher/Master for visit to Civil Secretariat, Srinagar without necessary Permission / Pass from the department.
