Self imposed lockdown in Jammu to start soon but it may not impact you

After the administration failed to stop the spread of Coronavirus cases in Jammu and number of infected continues to climb, Jeweller’s Association of Jammu has decided to go under a self imposed lockdown.

Raman Suri who is the president of Jeweller’s Association said that the self imposed lockdown of shops under the association will start next week.

Suri said that the pandemic has affected the country in a bad way and during this time everyone should come forward to contribute their bit. He said “Till now we have extended our full support to the government. Our former President of the Jeweller’s association has also died due to coronavirus so considering that all jewelers of Jammu have agreed to go for the self imposed lockdown for a week.”

He further said “on 14th May Akshay Trithya will be celebrated in the country and during this day people believe that buying gold, silver ornaments will bring good luck to them but the day will only bring good luck if all the members of a family are safe”.
