Hardliner Pro-Pakistan Yasin Malik was today officially convicted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court in New Delhi after he pleaded guilty in terror funding case.
The quantum of the sentence will begin to be heard on May 25 before which the NIA officials will assess his finances and arguments.
As per reports in India Today, Yasin Malik was asked to furnish an affidavit on his financial assets by the next date of hearing.
On May 10, Malik had pleaded guilty to all the charges, including those under the stringent Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), before a Delhi court.
Malik is also charged in a case related to terrorism and secessionist activities in the Kashmir.
