Snow avalanche disrupts Bandipora-Gurez road; traffic restored

Srinagar :- A snow avalanche struck the Bandipora-Gurez road yesterday evening, temporarily halting traffic movement. The Border Roads Organization (BRO) quickly responded to the incident, clearing the avalanche debris and restoring road connectivity.

Authorities emphasized the need for travelers to exercise caution while navigating the area, given the challenging winter weather conditions. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the avalanche, highlighting the swift and effective response of local emergency services.
