Terrorists shot policeman in J&K’s Anantnag

On Sunday, terrorists opened fire on a police officer in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag area. Officials informed that he has been wounded.

According to them, Constable Firdous Ahmad was attacked at his residence in the Hugam neighbourhood of the south Kashmir district at approximately 7:30 p.m.

The injured officer, according to the officials, was taken by ambulance to the Srigufwara hospital and then transferred to the 92 Base Hospital of the Army.

The area has been blocked off and a search has been started to find the perpetrators.
