Will Deepika Padukone be arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)? Will Shraddha Kapoor be arrested? These are the questions that most of the Indians wanted to know from Google on Friday and Saturday when both the actresses were called for questioning at the NCB office in Mumbai.
While Deepika Padukone reached NCB Mumbai office at around 9.45 am on Saturday, Shraddha Kapoor reached the NCB office at 11.40 am. Sara Ali Khan another actress who has also been summoned by the NCB did not reach the office till filing of this report but sources had confirmed that she had left from her house in Mumbai.
Since Saturday morning people across the country were asking will Deepika Padukone get arrested by the NCB due to her alleged involvement in the drug nexus. Internet users were also interested to know if Shraddha Kapoor will be arrested for her involvement in the same nexus? Rhea Chakrobarty another Bollywood actress was arrested by the NCB earlier this month due to her involvement in drug networking racket.
Questioning from Deepika Padukone continued for more than 3 hours at the NCB office in Mumbai by the sleuths of the department. Sources say that four rounds of questioning was done with Deepika in which her alleged involvement and her links to drug suppliers were questioned. Deepika and her manager Karishma Prakash were also made to face each other and questioned about the drug racket that had come out due to WhatsApp chat leak.
On the other hand Shraddha Kapoor who also faced questions from the NCB officials is also alleged to have abused drugs at some point of time, information that came out due to the chat leak.
Sara Ali Khan is another top Bollywood star who has acted in some movies but made a big name for her apparently for being a star kid. Although her movies have not worked well on screen but she is being seen as an upcoming superstar of tomorrow.
However it has to be seen whether the drug probe impacts the careers of Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan among others or they walk free. The question that will Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan get arrested is yet to be answered and it could be done only after the NCB probe in drug racket completes.
